The City of Barrie Awards Locomobi World Inc. Advanced Parking Payment Meter and Software Applications Contract.

Toronto , Ont. - LocoMobi World announces that its Smart Transportation and Parking Management System, WorldStream and their Parking Payment Meters have been contracted for the City of Barrie.The City of Barrie is a municipality located in Central Ontario, just over 100 kilometres north of Toronto. Barrie is located in Simcoe County, on the shores of Kempenfelt Bay which is the western arm of Lake Simcoe. The city of Barrie has been one of Canada’s fastest growing municipalities for several decades now.As the largest urban centre in Simcoe County, Barrie is the economic and employment hub of Central Ontario. As a single-tier municipality, the City of Barrie is exclusively responsible for providing critical infrastructure and hundreds of services to its residents including roads, water, wastewater, parks, recreation, culture, and much more. As apart of the broader transportation network, City of Barrie Municipal Parking plays a crucial supporting role that connects residents and tourist to the vibrant downtown, waterfront, landmarks, various attractions, highly utilised destinations and renowned parks and trails.
To meet the City’s needs, LocoMobi World will be installing a combination of multi space Solar Pay Stations and WorldStream Parking Payment solution to assist in management of multi space pay machine, pay-by-plate, text-to-pay, and scan-to-pay options. The WorldStream AI enhanced cloud portal offers a diverse range of additional solutions including mobile apps & software, management of equipment including real-time status, and specialised equipment for transportation and logistics applications.
